Ten Worship Leading Myths | Worthily Magnify

Good points for those who lead worship—and for those who expect things from those who lead worship. A few of my favorites:

  1. “Every week you have to be more creative than the last.” Wrong. Every week you get to point people to Jesus again.

  2. “If people aren’t into it then something’s wrong with your leading.” Wrong. That’s the Holy Spirit’s job. Be patient.

  3. “You should speak before every song.” Wrong. The more you talk, the less they hear what you’re actually saying.
